What’s New 2019

From March of 2019 through February of 2020, Channel Three Productions saw some enormous growth. We picked up several new clients, while continuing to do more and more projects with our existing clients. We began officing out of MediaTech Institute, a large production facility/recording studio that has been transformed into a nationally accredited vocational college in media production.

Austin Industries

We were fortunate to get to know Austin Industries when we had the contract with Parkland Hospital (BARA/Building Parkland). We were asked to produce a recruiting video for Austin Commercial’s Internship program, followed by an intern video for Austin Bridge & Road. On each project, we interviewed interns and their mentors at several high-profile construction job sites including The Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, the Irving Convention Center, McLane Stadium, Love Field and DFW Airport. We also produced several interactive training modules and videos for new hires.

Tasty Clients: Which Wich

I shot a web video with a bunch of film students hungry for delicious food and cool projects to shoot. Which Wich Founder & Chief Vibe Officer, Jeff Sinelli, is a self-professed “Sandwich Guy.” As he says “I love sandwiches!… I was eating a lot of sandwiches at the time…”

PeiWei Chicken

The Wei Better Orange Chicken event for Pei Wei in Klyde Warren Park featured lots of free food, games, music and the color orange!

McDonald’s Area Training, Drive Through Training, and Leadership Training

McDonald’s had me coming out monthly to produce a training video for their team and all I can say is they had me at free Egg McMuffin! During the pandemic we edited a bunch of cellphone video and existing imagery for their virtual conference.

Casa M Spice Co brings the flavor!

Casa M Spice is one of the many great organizations we have the fortune of meeting through our work on “Worldwide Business with kathy ireland.” After that show, we continued filming recipe videos for social media, new employee interviews and consumer insights at two Irving Zest Fests!

Hilton Worldwide: “Fighting Food Waste” & Feeding Children Everywhere”

Really proud to be asked by Hilton to help with this message of “Fighting Food Waste.” The Hilton executives and executive chefs were filmed and interviewed at Dallas’ Hilton Anatole.

The same year, the “Feeding Children Everywhere” project for Hilton Worldwide marked 5th straight year Channel Three produced the DFW portion of this video containing service projects around the world. Happy 100th Birthday Hilton!

More fun with Southwest Airlines

After producing a “Game of Thrones” inspired employee video the year before, we were invited back two more times to the Love Field-based airline everyone loves. One employee video was “Hotel Transylvania”-themed and the other based on 80’s movie classics.

The Idaho Real Estate Commission

For the 5th time, Idaho Real Estate Commission awarded a training video to Channel Three Productions shown state-wide. Good acting is required to pull off these videos & DFW has a great talent pool, so we have shot 4 of these in DFW. This time I was able to leverage the studio facilities and talented students and staff at MediaTech Institute.

Dr. Paul Baker – Unfinished Business!

Almost a decade of documentary filmmaking reached a milestone in 2019 when a sneak peek of the documentary on the “Impractical Visionary” premiered at Dallas Children’s Theatre. Very few people are aware of how Dr. Baker, the founder of the Dallas Theater Center, Booker T. Washington H.S. of Performing & Visual Arts, and Trinity University put the city of Dallas on the map artistically in the 60’s with experimental original productions such as “Hamlet ESP”, “Journey to Jefferson”, “Jack Ruby All American Boy” and the Broadway play, “A Texas Trilogy.” Channel Three President, Brad Ruekberg, was the Director of Photography and Associate Producer. The Dallas Theater Center, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright also received panel discussions this same year and we covered that as well.
