2023 continued to build upon the return to normalcy in 2022 from COVID lockdowns. With the live event industry hotter than it’s ever been, the entertainment industry settled its strikes with IATSE, then WGA, then AFTRA/SAG, and content is now being produced to be shown on screens of every size for private use and public venues. With everyone also physically back at work in the corporate, government and education sectors, video production cranked up for Channel Three Productions. However, we are still awaiting the corporate video work to return to pre-pandemic levels, which we hope will be fully back in 2024.

It was a nice decade run with “Worldwide Business with kathy ireland” and “Modern Living with kathy ireland” (FOX Business News.) Getting “a little country” at the American Rodeo Concert and the Country Music Television Awards!
In May 2023, Channel Three was pleased to film performances and interviews at the American Rodeo Concert at Globe Life Field in Arlington with the upcoming band, The Ghost Hounds for Gibson Records/Gibson Guitar. Our 3-camera, 5-person crew also captured performance footage of Darius Rucker and Sheryl Crow. We also pulled out the cowboy boots in April at the CMT Awards which took place in Austin this year instead of Nashville. The pre-show CMT Awards Block Party was hosted by CBS Austin’s Trevor Scott. We were booked on this event by Christie’s Photographic Services and The Texas Lottery Commission.
“The Cher Show” Dazzles Audiences at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas!
Channel Three was pleased to work with Fresh Produce Productions who we previously worked with 10 years ago on “Greater Tuna” at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth. This time, we hit the road to Fayetteville, complete with gear for a 3-camera shoot on the wildly entertaining “Cher Show.” They staged numbers just for us we could film up close and even on the stage; then later we filmed the live show in front of a packed house. The footage is used for advertising and documentary purposes.
Christie’s Photographic Sends Channel Three to Corporate Shows in Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston & Austin!
Christie’s Photos has been partnering with Channel Three on the video end of their photography projects since 2017, but business really picked up this past year with conferences for World Hydrogen, Minutemen Press, Cognizant, USG Corp, and Cava Foods, among others, at venues from the Gaylord Texan to the Fairmont and Hyatt Regency. While the conference presentations and sessions are covered by the hotel AV crew, we specialize in event coverage and testimonials for highlight reels played on the last night of the conference as well as for posterity and provide multiple camera ops and on-site editing.
Corporate Clients New & Old Contract with Channel Three
Corporate video production started slowly coming back, mostly as part of conferences/events. While as noted above, Christie’s Photo very generously provided many of these opportunities, Channel Three was able to work directly with several companies, notably Diodes Semi-Conductor and Sager Electronics. We worked with Diodes for their very first corporate video they unveiled at the CIE/USA Conference in Seattle. We also filmed the grand opening event and operations of the new Sager Electronics facility in Lewisville this year. Sager recently became part of the TTI Corporation, who Channel Three has enjoyed an ongoing working relationship with since 2016. We look forward to continued work with this company.
Hilton Worldwide “Travel With Purpose”
We were very pleased to work again with Hilton Worldwide, who we have produced all sorts of video projects for since 2014. Their “Global Week of Service” annual event we have done since that time had been on hiatus along with all other video work since 2019, but returned this year now as “Travel With Purpose.” We spent 2 days filming and taking photos at the non-profit, Brother Bill’s Helping Hand food pantry.
Author Solutions Books Videos Fly Off the Shelf!
In 2023, Channel Three Productions produced another 4 author videos for this publisher consortium including a biography of poet Emma Embury written by her great great grandson; an illustrated children’s book about a young army brat, “Wayne, the Nerd from Arizona”; and “Inspire Before You Expire”, the true story of a miraculous recovery from a devasting car accident – all from Xlibris Publishing. We were also pleased to work with Dr. Gideon Adjei on his inspirational novel “Hope: Dynamism of a Will and a Way to Win” (Archway).
